2 x The Mitre Red

For the 175 Celebration, The Drift Estate has produced The Mitre Red, a friendly, juicy, mostly Bordeaux variety blend (Cabernet Sauvignon 44%, Merlot 37% and Petit Verdot 19%) that can be enjoyed now, but which will surprise many with its ability to age and develop in complexity over the next 5 to 8 years.

2 x Sauvignon Blanc 2023

For the 175 Celebration, De Grendel has produced a wonderful Sauvignon Blanc. This 2023 vintage comprises 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Semillon and is the perfect accompaniment to a warm summer’s day. Butter chicken is a favourite partner, but this Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blend will work equally well when served ice cold with fresh apple pie and cream.

2 x THE 175

For the 175 Celebration, Constantia Glen has produced a special Bordeaux-styled blend which we have simply called, The 175. This 2020 vintage is blended from Malbec 40%, Cabernet Franc 30%, Petit Verdot 20% and Cabernet Sauvignon 10%, all grown and bottled on the estate, having spent 16 months in French oak. This is an ideal wine to drink now for a special celebration, or to lay down and open at a later stage.

2 x Commemorative Cap Classique 

For the 175 Celebration, Silverthorn has produced a wonderful Méthode Cap Classique which we have called the Commemorative MCC. This MCC is made from 100% Colombar grapes, from well-established vineyards of between 30 and 40 years old. 50% of the base wine was fermented in Acacia barrels. This is a wonderful accompaniment for any sparkling occasion.
