Blend : 85% Shiraz, 14% Mouvedre, 1% Viognier – Plush entry to the mouth, rounded and appealing with ample juicy black plum notes. Those rich flavours are tempered by a pleasant spicy cedar grip. Structured, textured, but still taut and leashed. Somewhat tightly furled but finishes with good length.
3 x Swartland Syrah 2020
A mix of ripe, dark blue and black berries and plum fruit with a touch of spice and herbs. Hints of smoky and savoury notes with beautiful Syrah perfume. Succulent entry to the mouth with plump, plush blueberry and plum immediacy. The rounded berry vibrancy, makes way for a well-placed chalky, yet juicy tannin and well integrated oak grip, which balances and compliments the fruit well. Dark fruit with lovely inky liquorice notes. The elegant, glossy mouthfeel fades away smoothly with a varnished long finish.
