Breedekloof Chenin Blanc 2021

Breedekloof boasts the most extensive Chenin Blanc plantings in the world, and the highest percentage of old vines in South Africa. The geography, climate, mountains, rivers and diverse terrain contribute to a unique winemaking valley.

Seven Breedekloof winemakers contributed their finest barrels to produce the Regional Series Breedekloof Chenin Blanc 2021. A uniquely collaborative project designed to showcase a true expression of their regional signature style.

Appealing stone fruit, apricot, and quince aromas. With a ripe, honeyed nuance. Vibrant freshness with a creamy richness from a bit of time in oak. The wood is beautifully integrated and adds lovely texture and mouthfeel. Restrained but generous and elegant. A pleasure to drink right now, the wine will benefit from time in the bottle reaching optimal drinking age in 3-5 years.
