“This wine was not only produced using our finest Chenin Blanc, but with a collaborative spirit between all the winemakers that comes across in the final product. It’s a harmonious well-balanced wine we are all proud of, especially given its recent Platter’s five-star recognition.” Attie Louw, Opstal Estate
Tasting Notes :
Appealing stone fruit, apricot, and quince aromas. With a ripe, honeyed nuance. Vibrant freshness with a creamy richness from a bit of time in oak. The wood is beautifully integrated and adds lovely texture and mouthfeel. Restrained but generous and elegant. A pleasure to drink right now, the wine will benefit from time in the bottle reaching optimal drinking age in 3-5 years.
