Constantia is the birthplace of South African wine. The region enjoys a maritime climate on the slopes of Table Mountain, cooled by sea breezes from False Bay and differing altitudes, offering the perfect conditions for white wine varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Given the prime unique position of the area, the closely knit group of winemakers, have honed an unique style of wine which can be considered a world-class benchmark. 

Seven Constantia winemakers contributed their finest Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon barrels to produce the Regional Series Constantia White 2021. A uniquely collaborative project designed to showcase a true expression of their regional signature style.

Tasting Notes : 

With layers of complexity, the wine shows stone fruit and citrus blossom on the nose. Time in the glass reveals tropical fruit, toasted almonds, and hints of asparagus. The palate has beautiful intensity. The lemon zest and white peach follow on the palate, supported by toasted oak and a touch of herbaceousness. The wine has a lovely long finish framed by fresh, natural acidity. Drinking beautifully now but will improve in the bottle for the next 3 to 5 years.
