The Swartland terroir is home to rich, nuanced, silky Syrah and the Kasteelberg Syrah is no exception. Rich red & black fruit, liquorice and hints of spice charms the nose. The palate is vibrant and shows complex red & black fruit with focused, fine tannin and a long silky finish.

A mix of ripe, dark blue and black berries and plum fruit with a touch of spice and herbs. Hints of smoky and savoury notes with beautiful Syrah perfume. Succulent entry to the mouth with plump, plush blueberry and plum immediacy. The rounded berry vibrancy, makes way for a well-placed chalky, yet juicy tannin and well integrated oak grip, which balances and compliments the fruit well. Dark fruit with lovely inky liquorice notes. The elegant, glossy mouthfeel fades away smoothly with a varnished long finish.
2 x Thelema Shiraz 2017
Aromatic and inviting, this flavourful Shiraz shows ripe black fruit, cassis and lovely spice on the palate. A wine best paired with grilled meats, meaty casseroles and mature cheeses.
