65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Shiraz, 9% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec & 3% Pinot Noir. Full-bodied, yet elegant and mature. This is a fruitdominated wine with blackberries, cassis, white chocolate followed by some cigar box and light pencil shavings. Subtle tannins linger with sweet red berry fruit on the finish.
2 x Hoopenburg Bordeaux Blend 2018
Cabernet Sauvignon 52%, Cab Franc 24%, Petit Verdot 12%, and Merlot 6%. This multi-layered wine has good sucrosite, hints of violets, attractive blackcurrant and cassis flavours on the nose. Subtle nuances of cloves and vanilla culminate in a soft mouth-filling tannin finish.
2 x Neil Ellis Left Bank Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2019
64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec. Vibrant, deep dark in colour. The nose shows complex aromas of dark and red berries with a perfumed bouquet. The palate is dense and complex with fine structured tannins.
