47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 23% Petit Verdot and 7% Cabernet Franc. The wine displays a deep dark plum red center with a brilliant garnet rim. Aromas heady with brooding aromas of blackcurrant, blueberries, tobacco spice and cedar notes. There is a beautiful support of toasted vanilla spice in the background. The palate is dense with ripe dark berry fruits. It is full and rich with a textured mid-palate leading to the beautifully dry but sumptuous tannins on the finish which linger forever.
6 x Regional Series Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Deep ruby hue. Aromas of dark cherries, redcurrant and dried cranberries yield to a palate bursting with those same ripe fruits, a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg and shavings of dark chocolate. Wonderfully complex, the tannins are soft and integrated. A pleasure to drink now, this wine will continue to reward for a decade or more.
