Syrah was sourced from Riebeeksrivier in the heart of the Swartland to create a true expression of the signature regional style. The pioneering winemakers of the region believe Syrah is quintessential Swartland wine. A mix of ripe, dark blue and black berries and plum fruit with a touch of spice and herbs. Hints of smoky and savoury notes with beautiful Syrah perfume. Succulent entry to the mouth with plump, plush blueberry and plum immediacy. The rounded berry vibrancy, makes way for a well-placed chalky, yet juicy tannin and well integrated oak grip, which balances and compliments the fruit well. Dark fruit with lovely inky liquorice notes. The elegant, glossy mouthfeel fades away smoothly with a varnished long finish.
6 x Stellenrust Peppergrinder Shiraz 2019
This wine offers a dark brooding nose of spice and a distinct white pepper and lifted violet note. The palate shows blackberry and red cherry but also a persistent peppery spice and violet nuance with a lingering finish of black olives and soft vanilla undertones.
