As an unoaked Chardonnay, this is quite an aromatic wine, showing floral notes of Frangipani, sweet alyssum and orange blossoms – with a surprising hint of orange sponge cake. It has a dynamic palate with a grippy, brambly apple acidity and wet pebble minerality.
